Christmas Eve

We spent Christmas eve with my parents. In years past we would go to my grandparents house on Christmas eve but they are now deceased and all the families do their own thing.  I ordered a dozen Pasties from Hunt's in Mackinac City and we had them and a light salad for our meal.  Very delicious.  There was a high wind warning throughout the day and we made the 90 mile trip home before the worst of the storm front blew through.

Nolan got a light up Chuckit ball from us and a new blanket from his "grammy"

This is me and my cousins with our dolls in 1968.

There's No Place Like Home for the Holidays!

So my story "Christmas Eve on 9th Street" is being used to kick off Otterbein's Holiday Celebration, "There's No Place Like Home for the Holidays". If you go to the main Otterbein page- www.otterbein.edu -you can see it in the spotlights or you can go directly to the story on this pagehttp://www.otterbein.edu/Spot…/christmas-eve-on-ninth-street. Once you read the story-at the bottom of the page there is another link and if you follow it you will see another photo of us and if you click on /continue reading you will see more photos. Honored to have been asked to share my treasured memories!
