Today was a productive day as I got a hair cut, the city replaced our water meter, we got our carpets cleaned, went to the grocery and had both dogs groomed (or pruned) as Andrew calls it. Lacy got an excellent behavior report from the groomer; this having been only the second time in her life being groomed in a salon with the first not going so well because she was still fearful of leaving me. We ran into some friends while we were uptown and had lunch with them at Smashburger. Andrew put new fuel line on the boat motor and now we are holed up in the house reading bc it rained from 9:30-11:00 and then the sun came out and it is a steamy mess out there. Luckily though it was cloudy until after 3 pm so that kept a lot of the heat down and we really needed the rain.
