It was such a beautiful day that two of my friends (who are also my co-workers) and I decided to walk uptown and get an icecream cone at the favored coolspot-Graeter's. It was a nice break and a great snack.

Are they ornamental pear trees or do they actually produce fruit? They look beautiful!
Ornamental. They are actually not very desirable trees. Our town was heavy populated with them and the wind storms blew a lot of them apart. They don't hold up well in storms and now are becoming invasive as well. It's a shame since they are beautiful in the spring which is why they were selected in the first place.
The Spring trees are beautiful. It seems that Winter was long, and so this nice weather is especially welcome. I plan to go to the Arboretum later today to walk around, and enjoy the Spring scenery.
