Wool in the Works

Today I spun up all the roving that I bought on Saturday at Wooster and washed and dried the BFL fleece that I bought from Lisa at Somerhill. The BFL is the cleanest (almost no VM) fleece I have ever seen and it washed up so nice. I will be sending the BFL, along with a pound of red and fawn and white angora that I just got this week from clipping some of the buns down for the summer, to Stonehedge for processing. The roving came from Wooley Knob in Indiana and it is merino with bits and pieces of fabric and whatnot mixed in it. It spun into the coolest novelty yarn ever. The yellow will become a felted purse and the purple and blue are going into hats.

Is it normal to look at other people's fiber purchases and drool?I love the blue color combination.

Is the darker blue yarn from the BFL locks plied with that cool silvery ball of yarn you got?

What Maureen, you drool over something that is not PINK??? :^)

I love the face to face picture of you and Pip, Annette.
