Whenever I go to a fiber event I always look for angora collectibles. You know jewelry, stitch markers, little animals, paintings etc... And there is never anything available. So I decided I needed to come up with something. For the past year I've been working on a jewelry design that would be both inexpensive and easy to produce. The above photos depict my efforts. I will have these items available at the Wool Gathering in Yellow Springs this fall and I may also bring them to a few rabbit shows as well. They are made of clay, painted with metallic paint and given an antique over wash and sealed with satin polyurethane. Right now I have pins and pendants (with a black satin cord). Each one is slightly unique due to the intensive hand work involved. Feedback and constructive criticism is welcome.

Okay, Annette, constructive criticism; here it goes: "These are truly original, one of a kind, angora jewelry pieces. I bet they are going to sell like hot pancakes!"
You are quite talented. I keep thinking of what to make of Angoras that is unique, but nothing...your creativity is admirable!
Thanks!

Hi Annette!
These are GORGEOUS!! You are so right about there being no Angora things 'out there' - this is going to fill that gap, and I am sure these will be really sought after - and, with that opinion, when can I buy one from you?
Hugs,
Julie
