Monday Monday

I spent some of the day whitewashing and polyurethaning the book nook. Estimated finish date is Sunday. It still needs trim, the doors are being glued as we speak, and then they and lid of the cedar blanket chest need to have hinges. I also made a cushion for the seat and it turned out nice. I took Daisy to the vet early this morning for her vaccines and heart worm medication and did some rabbit grooming. Doodle is starting to noticeably decline. She's only eating half of her normal amount of food and she can't see or hear well anymore. Today it took some time for her to get up from a laying down position but she still seemed happy to see me when I came out to the rabbitry. She also still likes her hay and kale. Here's two photos of her that I took the other day. We've had her 10 years this month. She was full grown when we got her as a rescue so that makes her somewhere around 10.5 -11. She's half the size she used to be. Daisy loves her. In the one photo I told Daisy to give Doodle a kiss...

It's hard to believe Doodle is that old. She found a good home with you and Andrew and Daisy.
Daisy is so patient and tender with your rabbits. I guess she takes her cue from you.
