Just got back from "dumpster diving." The Sustainabilty Team here at OC salvages usable items, that the students throw away as they are moving out of the dorms, and donates them to charity. Isn't that a great idea? We got a perfectly good computer printer amongst our items.

It amazes me what all people (kids especially) will throw out. I'm glad some of their "unwanted" stuff will be saved from our landfills and put to good use! Way to go Annette!!
What a great idea! My kids are packrats. I am generally the one that takes stuff and gets rid of it... but I am an avid goodwill donater... so most of my stuff ends up there (even sometimes the stuff that really should go into the garbage. Somebody could fix that old dishwrack... right??)
