I just finished baking soft pretzels from scratch. I got the recipe from
Farm Journals Complete Home Baking book. For some reason soft pretzels just sounded good. It was pouring down rain and a huge storm went through and dumped a big bunch of rain while I was baking. We turned off the tube and listened to the storm and took in the scent of the pretzels baking. They are the kind that take a lot of work kneading and boiling and then baking but they are sure worth it.

I have always wanted to try and make pretzels. The lady across the street use to make them but I think they look labor intensive. Yours look good!
