Mr & Mrs Turtle
Our neighbor works for the highway crew and was on assignment in Gallia County this past week. She brought home a pair of box turtles that she plucked from the roadside prior to mowing so they wouldn't be injured. They went to school for show and tell today and are going back down south next week. They are mates and the female had PMS and was snarling; henceforth why the male is hiding. LOL

So glad they are safe and will be returned to their territory. How big are they?
Joe found a small male at Moore Woods this summer that was injured, thin, and the bite wound was infected. He's taken it home and is nursing it back to health. The turtle will be returned to the woods in the spring.
Love your commentary!!!! :- D
