Ebony Jewelwing

The Ebony Jewelwing is a damselfly that is commonly found along wooded slow moving streams. Its metallic green color is stunning in the sunshine and I also like the lacy look of its wing when they are backlit. Damselflies differ from dragonflies in several ways; the most noticeable is that they hold their wings upright and dragonflies hold theirs outstretched.

This is an awesome picture. I could've thought this was a dragonfly.

Beautiful photo! They have such lovely delicate wings...

How late was your wee red satin angora kit? I have an english doe whom I witnessed being mated several times and she is on Day 33. I can't feel anything moving but if there is only one or two I'm not sure if I could tell. Our other doe gave birth on day 31 to NINE kits! Only one didn't make it so far.
